Through its natural and cultural resources, the county of Bistrita-Năsăud may become a future ecotouristic destination. This is the reason why the present paper intends to emphasise its ecotouristic potential and to sketch some strategic actions from a geographical perspective, necessary for the development of ecotourism in this area and its integration in regional, national, and even international ecotouristic circuits.
